The Summit Ridge

Mount Meru rises to 4,566 metres within Arusha National Park and forms the dramatic backdrop to Arusha city. The mountain is an active stratovolcano with a distinctive horseshoe-shaped crater and a summit sector overlooking the vast volcanic landscape of northern Tanzania. Its ascent passes through multiple vegetation zones and offers a challenging alternative to Kilimanjaro.
