After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day combining nature and culture. Visit Napuru Waterfalls and experience the surrounding natural environment. Continue with cultural and heritage experiences where you can discover more about Tanzania's history, art, traditions and local way of life. This day gives you a different perspective of Tanzania before entering the major wildlife parks.
Depart early for Tarangire. Explore its river, woodland, grasslands and spectacular baobab landscapes. Look for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, impala, warthogs and predators.
Today takes you away from the traditional game-drive routine and into the beautiful highlands around the Ngorongoro area. Explore the Embalakai and Olmoti surroundings, enjoying spectacular landscapes, vegetation and local scenery. Where included in the final program, enjoy a nature walk/hike around Olmoti and discover the quieter side of the conservation area.
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the day exploring the crater floor and searching for its extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Possible sightings include lions, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, elephants, gazelles and hyenas. With luck, you may encounter black rhinoceros.
Leave Ngorongoro after breakfast and travel towards central Serengeti. As the landscape opens into the plains, begin looking for wildlife along the route.
Spend the entire day exploring central Serengeti. Search for lion prides, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas, while also enjoying sightings of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest and zebra.
After breakfast, leave central Serengeti and travel north towards Kogatende. The journey becomes increasingly wild and remote, with beautiful landscapes and opportunities for game viewing along the way.
Today is dedicated entirely to northern Serengeti. Depending on the season, this region may provide opportunities to witness the Great Migration around the Mara ecosystem. Watch for large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra, while predators follow the herds. The area may also provide sightings of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos and crocodiles. Return to camp after a full day in the northern wilderness.
After breakfast, transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your onward flight. As you leave the Serengeti behind, enjoy one final look at the landscapes that have formed the backdrop to your adventure. Your journey ends with memories of Tanzania's wildlife, culture, landscapes and unforgettable wilderness.
